Sending a Text an issue

I'm on my second Nexus and have a lot of the connectivity issues that I've read about. Mine also has problems sending text messages. It happen several times a week. I type a text message and hit send then exit that screen. About 30% of the time, they hang and don't go. I have to reboot the phone and then resend. It's somewhat irritating especially if my reply is time sensitive. Anyone have some insight about this?

Are you using a 3rd party app for texting? What apps do you have on the phone

I saw something somewhat similar last week on my nexus. I would be texting someone and all of a sudden I could not send a text. I would have to pull the battery to get it to work again. I uninstalled handcent and still saw the same issue with the stock texting app. However, once I reinstalled handcent the issue seemed to go away. I'd try uninstalling the texting app you are using if you are using a 3rd party app, and then try to reinstall it.

My Nexus hangs up several times a week. I type a text and hit send and nothing. One time it was still trying to send the next morning. I am using the stock text setup and have no text apps installed.
