Stop the insanity! PLEASE someone help.

I just got a BB Curve and set it up. Now I HATE the emails from my personal account being pushed to my phone. I have tried following the instructions on the phone but with no success as to how to make it stop! Anyone have a cure? I am getting very frustrated at having the beeps go off continuously. Please help!

gotot the email settings icon or log on online, select what account you wanna delete

Click on your e-mail account with BB button, click on filter and tell it to stop downloading messages from that account. That way you do not have to delete the e-mail account from your unit.

Bb button is to the let of your trackball , button with7 dots. That won't work on the bb you can only access filters by loggin on the the bis site on your computer

I didn't realize Wendi was using a Curve but on my Storm, I just highlight the e-mail account on the e-mail settings page, click on filters and tell it to "not" download the messages to the phone. Works great for me. I have two accounts and can select that function for either or both accounts. I do this function from the Storm unit and not the computer.
