getting pictures

hi,

I use to be able to connect my LG revolution to my computer via usb connection and get my pictures off my phone. now as of lately i plug my usb into my computer and there is no prompt to get them from my phone and when i go to "my computer" area, there is nothing showing for its mass storage.

Hi Drew.

Is it possible that either the USB cable you are using or the USB port are going out? Just a thought. Hope it helps! :smileyhappy: You might also check your USB drivers on the computer.

Also make sure under applications and development you dont have usb debugging checked, sometimes that plays tricks on windows

If you are not being prompted to go to Mass Storage you may have accidently checked the option to remember connection when you plugged in and selected charged only.... Try pulling down the top status bar and see if the option is showing "Charge Only" if so try clicking this option and select the Mass Storage Option...

Hello Drew! I would like to help you transfer your pictures to your computer. Everyone gave some great suggestions. Please let us know if Wildman's suggestion of changing the Mass Storage Option worked for you. You can also go to Settings>Connectivity and change the Default Connection Mode to Mass Storage. This should cause the phone to automatically enter USB mass storage mode each time it is connected to the computer.
