Is there a way to disable or change the annoying "DROID" sound that accompanies pushing the power button to open or close the screen?
I think those are two different alerts,
1. The sounds on boot up is probably located at Settings / Sounds / SD Card alert or something like that.
2. This second is located under Settings / Sounds / Screen Lock Sound
Uncheck both of these should stop this... Also the sound is the default notification alert, you can change the sound under Settings / Sounds / Notification Sounds..
