The DEA has been following me by the GPS signal in the Droid Razr. Is there anyway to turn off the GPS signal, so that I am not tracked by the DEA or anyone for that matter on my Droid Razr?
Mike
Yeah, throw it in the nearest large body of water...
Yes,, it is in your location and security settings but seriously man, the best thing to do is leave the drugs alone!! lol
I've tried turning off the phone. It appears they are still able to locate me. I even went to this awesome camping spot in Montana deep into the mountains and they found me. They found me in the Boundary Waters, near the Canadian and US boarders.
I've tried changing the phone number and that doesn't appear to have worked. They only time it is noticeable that they are not tracking me by my phone is when I leave it at home. Then they have to go back to old school tactics of keeping an eye on me.
Are you sure its the phone? May be someone telling on you? Did you find your GPS settings?
Folks c'mon, you're being trolled. Google it lol. "IF" there was an idiot dumb enough to let him/herself be tracked by the DEA because they didn't have a throw away phone - do you really think they'd compound that stupidity by going to a public forum asking for help to stop it?
This is no joke, I wish it was.

They can track you by more than the GPS and are probably using cell phone tower pings...or there's a tracker on your vehicle.
LOLOL!!!! You are right!! They must really want you man!! Get rid of the phone,, get a pre-paid!! lol If its all the apps and wi-fi then you can still get one pre-paid. And for real man,,, dont register it!! And OH,, One question,, Do they actually catch you and take you in,, or do you just think they are there watching you?
How, exactly, is it "noticeable" they are tracking you by your phone? Is there a message popping up every few minutes stating "This phone being tracked by DEA"?
Seems to me it would be more beneficial to you to allow them to track you in order to determine they have the wrong guy, you are not a person of interest and they decide to stop surveillance.
Of course, going "off grid" and hiding in the mountains near the US/Canadian borders may seem to be a more reasonable approach, but it also may bring more scrutiny about WHY you are trying to hide from the DEA.
I'm a mental health professional that is pro-cannabis living in a non-medical marijuana state.
Oh, no! They are really there. I spent 3 weeks traveling the Northwest United States a month ago and they were on me like glue.

Actually the device still transmit a signal that can be tracked as long as the battery is in the device, this is why you hear rumor that you need to pull the battery.... This is why the only way to force a PRL update is to pull battery and sim, as long as power is available it holds a signal connection.

I do not know what you have got into to have the DEA track you in the manner you reported (Also I do not want to know) but as long as you as communicating in a digital form you are leaving a digital footprint directly to you...
My suggestion is reevaluate whatever you got going on...
Tried to interact how?
Are you writing precsriptions for medical marijuana??
They told me that there wasn't much I could do. They can sniff all they want.
Maybe they implanted a "chip" in you when you were asleep................or maybe you should have taken the blue pill Neo......
That's what everyone else thinks happened.
