I get this error every few seconds. I have taken out the battery etc. Nothing solves it. Any ideas?
Also having this issue with my Bionic after the 4.0.4 update. Went into recovery mode and cleared the cache with no result
Since you've already cleared the cache, have you tried a (gulp) factory reset?
I am also having this issue
no, and I'd like to avoid doing so since it seems like that would mean re installing everything
Yep, you'd need to back everything up first, that's for sure. You may have apps that aren't playing nice with ICS or something. Jakeman1 offers some good advice in this thread:

Well that fixed it - full on data reset.
It didn't take very long, but I'll have to re-install all my apps - which I plan on doing slowly so I can make sure the problem doesn't crop up again.
I did not need to update the OS again, which definitely points to there being a conflict with installed apps.
Also, the tech I spoke with, Courtney (very helpful), mentioned that they do recommend a data reset when the OS is upgraded.
Resetting does get rid of a lot of extraneous baggage that could be slowing your phone down even if you're not actively getting errors.
Plus, it's a good way to clean up shop and get rid of all of those apps you never use (that are probably nom'ing on your power in the background)
Please see my previous post to locate the menu for the data reset.
Best of luck.
Glad your Bionic is working again; those FDRs are a pain, but sometimes a necessity
I am getting this message too. I just got the ICS update this morning on my Bionic. Everything was fine all day but then about 5:00 pm I started getting this message every 2 seconds. I will follow the steps above (backup then reset) and hope for the best. What. A. Pain.
Hello mr2money, Thank you for sharing your wireless concern and the error message! This is VERY helpful in achieving a permanent resolution. I know that you want to enjoy your device so I'm just as eager as you to get this resolved. May I ask is there any physical or liquid damage on the Bionic? Also, what software and build version do you have installed? As tikibar1 suggested, we may have to do a factory reset on the device. If you have done so then please share your findings. If you are still getting the error message then please advise as I can open a product issue report to get the manufacturer involved in a resolution. I look forward to hearing from you. ^AH
