What is verizon's policy on storing text messages (the content) on their servers?

Also, how long are text messages stored in their system?

I believe Verizon stores all text messages from the past 3 years with compliance with Federal law. That could have changed. But it doesn't matter, because you can't access their content with a court subpoena.
