links that are numbers takes me to phone instead of webpage

I receive an important email every day that contains a link to a webpage but my new Galaxy S3 sees it as a phone number instead. When I click on the link it takes me to the phone to dial versus the webpage. The link on my Iphone worked perfectly and so did a friend's Galaxy S2. If I can't get this to work I need exchange my phone quickly, please help.

I would suggest copying the link and then pasting it into your browser's url address bar. To copy, long press and select the link then press copy icon. To paste, long press in the browser's address bar and select 'Paste'.
