Can someone tell me how to move my contacts from Backup Assistant to an older Motorola Droid phone that is not compatible with Backup Assistant?

I had all my contacts saved on Backup Assistant for my old phone that was not a smart phone. I recently got an older Motorola Droid to step into the smart phone world until I qualify for an upgrade but now I see that my phone is not compatible with Backup Assistant! How can I get those contacts to my phone?

If you got the DROID (1) or the DROID Eris, you are correct that they are not compatible with Backup Assistant. You can export your contacts to a Gmail account. You would then sign into the phone with that Gmail account and the phone will sync the contacts with the phone.
