Music in SD card doesn't appear in Music on phone

I created a Music folder on my SD card as specified in this article, but afterward, none of it was found in my phone in my Music application. There is some other stuff in there, and I'm not sure where it came from on my phone.

What do I have to do to play music on this phone?

Nevermind. I just have no patience. It is now beginning to appear after about 20 minutes. Strange. Verizon should document that "feature" on the help file linked above.
