I've had 2 Samsung Intensity II replacements can I ever get a new phone?
**My contract is up in Oct, per my account I can get a new phone in June.
**My Samsung Intensity II died 2 weeks ago after a 4 month decline in 3 operations---
3. It stopped the sync with my car.
2. It created duplicate contact entries, anywhere from 3-8! It also refused to alpha sort the contacts. Very annoying for an anal librarian!
AND THE #1 REASON--THE MICROPHONE CEASED WORKING!! I'd make or receive a call and the caller couldn't hear me!! It was very annoying but also very funny. I took a lot of teasing over that.
**Keep in mind THE BATTERY WAS WORKING W/ NO PROBLEMS.
1st replacement pretended to work long enough to activate--then I tried to make a call. It shut off. Powered it up & extended the keyboard to type a text. It shut off. Wouldn't power up. Took the battery out, put it back it, it powered up. Tried to make a call, it shut off. I wasn't happy. Went to small store employee was very helpful & called customer service for me.
2nd replacement won't power up. Went to the large Verizon store where we normally do business. That employee said it had to be the battery. He told me he could tell it had been very wet, like being exposed to heavy rain or dropped into a full sink. When I told him that didn't happen he made it clear he didn't believe me implying I was lying. Can't get wet in the rain if it's in my purse or coat pocket. Never near water at home. But I was lying I ruined the battery. BUT he couldn't prove it because THEY DIDN'T HAVE A BATTERY IN STOCK!!!!
3rd replacement & new battery is coming today. I begged the guy on the phone to let me have a new phone. No luck Samsung requires at least 3 replacements. Anyone else had this problem?
