how can I tell if my device has be wet? and vioded warrenty? I have taken the back off to attempt to reset my Droid there is a very small circle that has the word void in it my phone has never even been around water how can I tell? Help please
The moisture indicator is a square shaped sticker with red crisscross lines on it. This sticker is usually on the battery and another one on the phone. If the phone got wet, then the red line blur and the whole sticker turns pink.
The void sticker covers screws that hold the phone's casing together. Those particular stickers are there to indicate if you have taken your phone apart.
