Can't receive MMS.

Hello!

I cant receive MMS, but i can receive SMS.

I see other issues with people being able to see that there is a message but cant download when they select download but my phone wont receive them, its like they get lost in air....

Anyone have any idea?

Are you trying to download the photo texts over wi-fi? You need to be connected to Verizon's cellular network to send/receive picture messages.

I am connect to 4g, I am always on the network and never use WI-FI. Everything is always over Verizon Network.

The gf stood next to me while and sent me an MMS, I receive nothing, she sent me a SMS, and the SMS came though right away. And its not just her, i have had several people try, but no luck.

I have not rooted or added any apps to control my SMS/MMS.

Send yourself a picture from your Gmail account that's associated with your phone, and it will work itself out. Once you have received the e-mail on the phone, MMS will work even when connected to WiFi.

I understand that MMS messages don't actually transmit via WiFi as they still go out over the data network. Therefore, you must have sufficient data coverage for the MMS to send. Another setting to check if this doesn't work is that the "Data enabled" box is checked under Settings > more (under Wifi/Bluetooth) > Mobile Networks while you are on WiFi.

I was having this same problem. On the phone for 35 minutes and they couldn't figure it out but I figured it out. Trust me it works.
