Cannot sync Yahoo mail

I have 3 e-mail accounts and had no trouble syncing my g-mail and outlook e-mail accounts, but for some reason I cannot sync my yahoo verizon.net to my new Nokia 822. I have tried multiple times and the only way I can see my yahoo mail is to log on via the web browser and pin this site to the start menu, but there has to be a way to add this account via e-mail settings. Any help with this would be appreciated!

Do it manually then

Go to Settings > Emails and Accounts > Advanced Setup > Internet email account

Scroll down and follow the instructions for Manually Advanced Setup

For Incoming email server type in pop.mail.yahoo.com

For Outgoing (SMTP) email server *- smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Everything else should be self explanatory

btw after step 3 it will ask for SSL authentication. Check mark for both

Yahoo sync did not work for me for 2 weeks, but it went thru manually following your directions.
