blackberry app world icon won't disappear..

ok, so i have a bb pearl 8130 and i had an application update icon at the top.  i went and fully installed the update and the icon has yet to disappear (like normal once i read all my emails or vm or w/e)  

 

any solution to make it go away (i keep thinking that i have a notification or update to do--but i don't!) ?

I would tell you to highlight it, and then open BB menu button and look for a delete, and if it is there, then click it and delete it.
