Why can't I use my RAZR as a hotspot? Is there something I need to do to set it up?
You might need to add the feature to your account and pay the monthly fee for the hotspot. It all depends on the type of data plan you and the type of voice plan you have with Verizon Wireless.
pugs1808,Great question regarding the hotspot usage on your Droid Razr device! If you currently have the Share Everything Plan the mobile hotspot feature is FREE and there is nothing additional you have to do in order to activate this service. If you are on a Nationwide calling plan, the mobile hotspot feature has to be added and provisioned on your account in order to work.
