Empty Threads dated Dec 31, 1969 7:00pm HELP!

Within the last few days this issue has started.

I delete a text conversation and it drops to the bottom, appears empty and shows the date of Dec 31, 1969 7:00pm.

My conversation list is growing.  I'm using the stock sms not Handcent or Go....

Anyone else having this issue?

I've checked out other forums and there appears to be people having the same problem but no answers yet.

yes, there are a number of threads about this issue on this forum, with various fixes offered; however, I don't believe anything has been resolved to date, unfortunately
