I hate this update and I wanted to know if there was a way I could get rid of it and if I can stop verizon from giving me anymore updates. They stink and I'm tired of getting them.

No, no way to get rid of it, and no way to stop further updates.
You realize you'd get this update no matter which carrier you had. What exactly go you hate about it? I don't have it so I'd like to know.
Updates on android phone are just one of those things we have to make friends. The only way to get rid of updates is get yourself a flip phone. You could also try an Iphone, Iphone does update/change the OS as much as android but they do get changes.
you cant remove the update and you cant stop the update one thru samsung not verizon
it's funny how many of these threads pop up after a software update comes out
you have 17 year old kids crying they dont have a software update, then someone in their 40s gets it and doesn't like it...its a vicious cycle
