I was told by a customer rep that I could call in on midnight and order the phone, that didn't happen, There is also no link to buy it online. Starting to wonder if I was lied to twice.

Yeah but searching around everywhere online for this phone. It was bad enough waiting for the screens to come in for the Droid Incredible so this is wearing my patience, come on Verizon. Lets try to keep everyone updated if anyone sees anything, ill stay up all night if i have too.

I was told today that it was midnight in whatever time zone you live in. Not sure if that's correct. The CS reps don't seem to be right most of the time.
Central time would be more right isnt it. I thought they based everything off central time anyways. Oh well i got all night ill be checking back n forth while playing wow. Yea and the servers are probebly slow due to getting it ready to turn over unless they are waiting till pacific time so everyones on 7.15 booo.

If a CSR told you that you can call after 12:01 thats a lie. They are closed at 11est. From what I have read, you will get overnight shipping if your order is placed before 4:30 pm est. Just go to bed people and order tomorrow morning. I just got the Incredible and I am returning it and order the X in the am.
Stuff if this is nething like the istupid4 coming out we gotta wait lol. We may not get it if we dont man imma sleep allday after work tomorrow.

...And I was specifically told I could order at 12:01 A,M, 7/15. I am NOT happy that custome support was run as usual on the launch date so I cannot get any answer to why I cannot order the Droid X!

its trying to tell me full price online and I specifically got an email saying I'd be eligible for an upgrade at $199. I'm on hold on the phone as we speak.

However - I also ordered the Auto Package, which states that it includes the vehicle power charger, the premium vehicle mount and the screen protectors... When I look at the order now, it does not list the screen protectors...
I took screen shots of the offering on the page - hopefully Verizon will hold up on what it said!

I have an upgrade in August. I tried upgrading online and it's telling me I have to pay $569.99. I chatted online and the girl said that I will have to call Customer Care in the morning so they can bump up my upgrade time to get the phone. I guess I'll head out to my local store at 8 AM and get it faster. They really should have thought of the people with later upgrades...
Strange - spoke with a rep today who said I'd have free overnight delivery, but there was no option for that during my order. Shelled out $8.99 for overnight. I'll see it Friday I suppose

I am having the same issue. Another issue, last week my wife ordered the Incredible over the phone and it will not ship tillAugust. She loves the Droid X and I called to cancel the order and they told me they can't cancel the Incredible order. I have to refuse it at the door. They said I could still upgrade her phone with an X since the Incredible is not activated. The website now says her line is not eligible for any upgrades.
I called tonight they tried to tell me the same thing, they had a sup override it and squared me away.

You need to speak to someone on the phone. VZW has released a notices allowing all incredible orders to be switched to droid x at no charge. The sales people on the phone know exactly whats going on, you might have to wait till normal business hours to speak to one of them. Or use the "Contact Us" email address and explain situation, they will call you next b
