Can't get Jelly Bean update

I have been checking for the new update, but when I touch check for new it will go to connecting but then it will say "Service Unavailable" and it tells me to check again when the service is available. This is very frustrating. I am in an area with 3g/4g signal.

I had the very same issue when the first update came out.  I read that getting a new SIM card would make the update work. So I went to verizon and they said that it wouldn't help but I insisted. The tech changed it and when phone booted up the update started downloading!!! Other people have said this works for them too.
