LG Cosmos touch - Warped battery cover

I recently purchased a new battery cover for my LG Cosmos touch and it is warped on the bottom, as you can see in the picture. This happened after I put the cover on. Is there something wrong with the phone?

That's weird! I have never heard of this happening. I suggest taking the phone into a VZW store for a hands evaluation. We need to take a look at the device to determine the cause of this.
