Video files on Incredible

If I open a video received in an email, the sound plays, but video only shows the first frame as a still picture.

Also Powerpoint only shows text of the first and last frames and won't show any graphics. 

These files play normally from the same e-mails on a computer.

Do I need some sort of plug-in?

When receiving emails attachments, you have to have the appropriate application from the android market to read and open the file correctly.
