Got an update last night, not contacts forced closes when I go there

On the night of 2/7/2013, my phone got an upgrade.

Since then, if I try to look at my contacts, or add a contact, I get a dialog with the following message:

Sorry ! The application People (process com.android.htccontacts has stopped unexpectedly.  Please try again. [force close]

I have tried going in by adding a number in my calls list.

I have tried pressing the contacts button to the right of Call.

I have tried going in through "Search People"

All give the same response.

How do I roll back to the old update untill it is fixed?

Yikes! I'm extremely sorry to hear that there may be issues with your software update. I understand how important it is to have a fully functioning device after the update. My apologies that there is not a way to back roll to a previous used software version. Once a new software is installed, all old versions are eliminated. This is a setting that is programed directly from the manufacturer upon release of a new update. The good news is, I know just how to fix this! It sounds like your software may have not taken correctly. In order to resolve this issue, please complete a hard reset on your device.
