I get the same text alert icons in the upper left hand corner of the phone (Samsung Galaxy 3) with the exception of two people. The text alert comes through as a red circle with an exclamation point in it. Any idea's why this is?
That symbol sounds like there was an error message when sending that particular person.
I get it when I receive a text from them. In the upper left hand corner of the phone. But thanks :smileyhappy:
Have you tried pulling down the notification area to see if there is more information?
Hello roslund! Having random alerts popping up can be alarming! (Especially when they have a red circle with an exclamation point.) Just in case if have not received an answer to your question, that alert signifies that the person that has sent you that text, has sent you that text as a high priority message.
