Both in the settings. Sounds like it is one of those.
I just bought my Droid Maxx phone 2 weeks ago. Email was working okay until yesterday when I stopped getting any emails. I discovered there was a system update available. It took about 20 minutes for it to download and start working. Now I have no problems. In fact I love the update. Soooo happy with this phone.
Hmmmm....what update was it? Could it be the long awaited Aug 15th update?
Went to settings>about phone>system updates. That's where I found this update which might be the Aug 15th one u referenced. Don't know.
What's the email domain so I can further assist you please? Yahoo.com, hotmail etc.
Usually, after an update, you need to re-enter your email account information.
