Can I use a Verizon Aircard USB551L on an MS Surface Tablet to browse the internet??

I want a lightweight device that can utilze internet explorer so I can access web based email that requires IE.

Hello MitchP57,  I love having the convenience of internet while on the go when I am using my tablet.  The USB modem does require the device to have Verizon Access Manager installed and the software would not be compatible with the tablets operating system.  We do offer our 4G LTE Jetpacks that will enable you to wirelessly tether your MS Surface tablet.  Check out all of your options at http://www.vzw.com/jetpack.  Please let em know if you have any additional questions.
