Retrieving Contacts issues and wont connect to web "server error"

I just switched to this phone from the Motorola Citrus, I backed my contacts up and shows on my profile, but the damn phone wont or isnt able to connect to myverizon.com. Say Server Error, even does so when just trying to use the browser feature.....Suggestions please

I am sorry to hear you are having issues syncing your contacts via backup assistance. More contacts are more fun so lets get this fixed! One work around for this error message is by exporting your contacts from backup assistance and then importing them via an email account.
