Text messages wipeout

I had gotten a Alert on my phone stating that my message storage is getting full.  I cleared out some messages that I did not need and the Alert icon went away.  I thought I was safe at this point.  Today...

All my text messages are wiped out from my phone. How can this happen if I did not agree to this action? All my favorite text messages that I kept on my phone are now gone and don't have a clue on how to retrive them for my personnel data. Can someone help.

Samsandy, I use text messaging as one of my main means of communication and I can understand why it would be devastating to lose all of your text messages suddenly. I'm sad to hear this happened and it sounds like a glitch caused the text messages to be deleted. Unfortunately there is not a way to recover these messages unless they were previously backed up with a 3rd party app. There are several in the PlayStore that allow you to periodically backup the messages and save them to the SD card. Try searching SMS Backup.
