Syncing calendar from S3 to Google calendar on computer

If this has already been addressed, sorry, I couldn't find it. I have no problem syncing from desktop Google Calendar to smartphone. But I can't get an entry to the smartphone calendar to sync to desktop computer. Tech support went around in circles with no fix. A store manager said, "It's a bug. I've looked for it too and it doesn't currently work." This seems like a major feature. Does anyone have any tips or solutions? Thanks.

You need to be sure to select the gmail account as the location create the event in. If you are select "phone" calendar, it will only be saved to the device.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a little new at this. Can you be more specific? I went to calendars tab at top of calendar page. I'm not sure where to enter the gmail account and how to do it. Thanks again.

In the dialog where you are adding the info for a new event/appointment, there is an option to select the calendar where the event is saved. It is usually at the very top of the dialog. Once you save an event you can't change which calendar it is in.

PS this question has been asked before. Many times across multiple android devices.
