My email deletes itself as soon as I'm brought to the window

When I see my email icon (standard app on phone) has message, I tap it. It takes me to the email screen, but then as soon as I have a chance to see the mssage listed, it just disappears from the screen. It does not allow me to tap the email to read it or open it, there is no time.

What is causing this or do I need to adjust settings? I've only had this phone since Monday night 12/17.

Thats certainly not how we want the device to perform, kathyjacks! Lets get to the bottom of this.

What email provider is this? Gmail, Yahoo, etc? Are you able to review your email at all on the phone? As in, if you don't have a new email, you simply go into it to view. Which device do you have? Please keep me posted so I can further assist.

I attribute my problem to new user error. I realized that if I leave my outlook open on my home PC, I cannot use email on my phone. I have to have outlook closed to see my emails, otherwise the email will display, but immediately disappear on my phone when I go into email. FYI, this was not for gmail, but for email app.
