Process com Motorola.home

I have been getting this message since yesterday and nothing I do can get rid of it. It comes on when I turn on the phone and I cannot see any apps nor can I go to the setttings menu. I can sometimes see emails but I have not been able to make a call. What can I do?

Hi paulienyc!

Let's get rid of that message you are seeing on your phone! I'd like you to try some troubleshooting steps for me please:

1.Bring up your home screen

2.Press the menu key (bottom left)

3.Choose "Manage Apps"

4.Choose "Google Search" from the list

5.Press "Uninstall updates"

I had tried that solution but could not get the menu to show. Every time I pressed the Menu button the error message would pop up. After a lot more research, I found the suggestion to replace the launcher. I was able to search (don't ask me how - I did it two weeks ago!) and installed Go Launcher. That solved the problem. All is fine now.
