Razr M will not let me enter text to send text msg

I am trying to send a text from my Razr M and I am unable to get the screen to respond to my touch so I can type a msg in the field where it says "msg will appear here". I can enter the address for the intended person but that is as far as I can get.

You should be able to enter the message text just below where you see 'conversation will appear here" Your cursor should be blinking where it says 'Compose message' (to the left of the Send button).

Hi heyyogagal! Lets get your texting back on track! There should be a small text box at the bottom of the screen you can tap to pull up the keyboard. If the keyboard is already displayed, the box will appear immediately above it. The "Message will appear here" advisement is letting you know where the message conversation will be so you can view it. Keep me posted!
