Is there any way to make all my contacts go into one folder?

Okay, you know how in your "people" there's that drop down menu? I have phone contacts, yahoo contacts, google contacts, facebook contacts, and it's driving me nuts. Not to mention apps like Snapchat can ONLY see the phone contacts. I've tried moving everything to the sim and sd card and nothing seems to work. I just want contacts. Nothing else. I don't need the phone telling me they came from facebook or google, just let me thrown them all in the same folder.

Having everything in one place can be helpful but also annoying when your trying to separate who you want to communicate with. I know this feature can be frustrating at time acsmith1972. I can help you to remove the sync feature. Try this, Go into the Settings > Accounts and Sync

Uncheck any syncing you do not want enabled for the accounts.



You can also try the steps below for facebook, which involves you signing completely out of facebook and setting it up again so you can decline the sync option. Steps below:



1) Open the Facebook app

2) Open Settings

3) Click 'Sync Contacts'

4) Change to 'Remove Facebook Data'

5) Click 'Ok'

6) From the Home screen, go into the Phone settings

7) Click 'Accounts & Sync'

8) Click on the Facebook account

9) Click 'Remove account'

10) Reboot phone

11) Open the Facebook app and set it up again

12) Choose don't sync
