Verizon just upgraded me from a Blackberry Bold to an iPhone.  I want to back up my phone numbers from the blackberry so that I can transfer them to the new phone.  I called their chat line, and the technician said he reached the end of his knowledge.  He gave me a phone number to call, but nobody answers the phone.  Can anyone help me?

Is there a chance you can take both phones to a Verizon (corporate) store and have them do the transfer? 

Another option is to re-activate the BB, use backup Assistant to backup the contacts (if they are not already backed up via BUA), then use BUA on the iPhone to import the list. 

Because you are dealing with two different, proprietary OS's, it's not really a simple export/import  - you have to use Backup Assistant or have a corporate store do the transfer.  Our local store was able to transfer from Env3 to iPhone, and from my BB Bold to a Droid 4 - I would think they could also transfer from a Bold to an iPhone.
