how do I retrieve my contacts I accidentally deleted
Verizon's Back up Assistant should have them. Log into MY Verizon sign in with your cell number and password and then click on Back Up assistant. The contacts should be there if you had your phone back up automatically. You just push the contacts back to your device from the web.
However if you don't use or never set up back up assistant this option will not function for you.

I have found that if you have an android phone you can retrieve them via a google sync.
on my verizon account I have each phone assigned a seperate login and password for backup assistant.
My second line has all the wifes numbers etc. However we swapped over to just Google since her phone has an individual email and password at Gmail. it works much better.
