t9 memory on lg touch

Hi,

I bought the touch about a month ago - love it except that you can't add words to the T9 dictionary. I wrote to LG and they said to go get a software upgrade @ verizon. Has anyone heard of this? Is it free?

Any insight would be great! Thanks!

You can check the software version your phone has by going to Menu>>Settings and Tools>>Phone Info>>SW/HW version.

The current version is VX11KV07 (I think that's the most current) - see what yours says. The update is free, and may take a half hour or more in the store to get it done.
