I have received two messages saying that I've got a flix pix message. I went to http://picture.vzw.com/pri/messages/folders.do?tab=messages then messages. But it doesn't have any messages for me. It only has Drafts (0 messages) and Sent Messages (0 messages). How do I view my received messages/inbox? Please help. I have attached a screenshot of what I found.
I can't begin to imagine what may be causing these messages, miso_na_nya. I appreciate the screenshot. Do me a favor and direct message me with your name & number. Tamara H.Follow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
Im having a similar problem. A friend has tried sending me a video message and I get a message to go to VZWPIX but it doesnt really get me anywhere and Verizon Tech doesnt seem to know why
We can certainly figure this out Motherbear. What phone do you have? Have you registered your line for My Verizon previously? MarquiaF_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
same prob here...does anybody have an answer?
Log into your on-line MyVerizon account, then hover over MyVerizon at the top of the page ... click on My Messaging. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Manage Your Album. Hopefully your pictures will be listed under My Media (or the message under Messages).
We're full of answers, deadboy666. When you are logging into www.vzwpix.com, please make sure you're using your mobile number instead of a user name. This way, you can make sure you're logging in under your mobile number and not one of the other lines on your account (if that may apply). Also, how long ago did you get the notification? New messages are only saved to the online album for 7 days unless they are opened and moved to a new folder. Jennifer_VZWPlease follow us on twitter @VZWSupport
I'm having this exact same problem. Judging by the number of people saying they are experiencing it too, and the number of different posts on this topic, Verizon has a serious problem in this area. This is indeed extremely frustrating!

Hi NicholasB_VZW.
I sign in, using my mobile number, and I seem to have no messages, though I got a text to my phone saying I had a video message, and I confirmed with the sender that they did send me something. Still, there is nothing on my account when I log in.
Hello JksfgcI would be happy to help. Thanks for replying. Which device do you have? Are you able to see the message on another line in My Verizon?JoeL_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
I am having the same problem can anybody help me please i've been trying it for ovr an hour.
This morning I also received 2 strange messages as follows:
"You've got a PIX or FLIX message! To see it, visit www.vzw.com/newpix-flix-message from an internet accessible computer & follow directions."
This is very suspicious since it was sent from my own cell phone (same as it was received on), but the link doesn't appear to be truly from Verizon. :smileysad:
I've gotten 10 of these stupid texts now. I have never used this service before so why is it happening now VZW? I'm on an unlimited text, 700 minutes, 2GB Data family plan. Incredibly annoying and frustrating. I need a resolution.
I too am having this issue. Just today someone tried to send me a picture via sms or text. When I told them it didn't come through they resent it and I received the same text from myself "You've got a PIX or FLIX message! To see it, visit www.vzw.com/newpix-flix-message from an internet accessible computer & follow directions." When I visit this website as mentioned I am asked to login. I have logged in and am unable to find where I can retrieve the picture I was sent. I am assuming that the sender must be trying to email the picture to my number@vzwpix.com rather than sending in a text message. Please advise.
i have same problem, i have unlimited text and i still get the messages saying log int vzw and check your flix or pix.. 6 of them today. whats the deal, what am i missing and why wont my phone download it and no access on my computer.
I got a pix or flix message on my phone - How do I open it!
I also am getting a message: "You've got a Pix or FLIX message! To see it, visit www.vzw.com/newpix-flix-message from an internet accessible computer & follow directions." And, the message is represented to come from me to myself! I expect Verizon is sending this, as no one else could spoof my message to appear to come from me.
So, went to the link on my home computer, and no media is there...get a pop up that says I have not activated an account, and a link to set one up, with referral to a Cloud Storage ability. (I DO NOT WANT ANY CLOUD STORAGE.)
Seems to me this is just a message from Verizon attempting to get me to start a cloud account for my messaging...???
I'm not interested...will delete this and future messages like it.
I want messages to come to my phone, and be viewable from my phone and not recorded anywhere else.
Thank you, please.
Ron
I'm having a similar but also different problem. I've had my phone for a few months now, an LG Optimus Dynamic with Net10. I've been getting tons of MMS with no problems, until the other day when I got a pair of texts from my own number about this.
I'm guessing due to being a Net10 customer and not directly a Verizon customer, I couldn't register for an account. ( "We are unable to find your information in our records.")
I highly dislike the idea of my MMS going anywhere other than my phone, and I'm even less impressed with the fact that I can't even access them.
I have, since seeing the texts, successfully received other MMS messages so I'm hoping this won't be a problem again, but I'd like some assurance that if it does I can access my messages.
Hi @myverizonphone, Picture memories are important! I can certainly understand your frustration with being unable to view these messages. You normally receive this message when someone sends you a picture or video message and your phone is unable to load the message. The message appears to be from your phone per VZW uses your number to send you the alert to log in and view the message. Once logged in, you should see the original number or email address that sent you the picture or video. You must be logged in MyVerizon under your number to view the messages. Thanks,PamelaF_Tweet us @vzwsupport
We want to help end your frustration tpannara! If you are referring to a Pix Place inactivity message, it is not contingent upon your plans. It sounds like you may have setup an account in the past. Have you tried to access it based on the instructions in the message? Here's more details to assist you. http://vz.to/KKleyXJonathanK_VZWVZW SupportFollow Us on Twitter@VZWSupport

Does anyone have a bottom line answer on this.
I have all the symptoms from above, recieve message, go to url, told I have to sign up for cloud storage, around in circles from there.
These messages just started a few months ago, before I got pictures and video just fine. Seems like someone "upgraded" something and broke a perfectly fine system.
I am receiving these texts indicating that I have pix/flix available for viewing but I don;t know anyone that would be sending these to me since I don't have smartphone. Is there a way to stop or block these?
hal9000p, Great question! The good news is you do have the ability to block picture/video messaging on your line of service which would prevent any from being sent to your device. This feature can be added to the account through your My Verizon account online http://bit.ly/xB4iTc EfrainM_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
