Is there a way I can add a sound or sound effect for Notifications? For ringtones, there is an Add button for Ringtones, but not for Notifications. The choices for tones are a little low sounding to me. I have the volume at max for all.
You have to copy or move the sound ringtones to the notifications folder on the phone's internal memory. Once there the phone will recognize it as a notification tone and make it available in the selection list for text messages, emails, etc.
It worked! I went to My Files, then All files, then chose SD memory card, then download folder, since that's where I had the sound file. I then copied it, I went back and chose Device storage, went to Notifications folder and pasted it there.
I just had to pay attention on going from the SD memory card to the Device storage folder.
