How can I get a replacement?

I fell today walking out of a client meeting and accidentally dropped my phone. The screen cracked even though I had a protective case on it and I can no longer use the phone at all because everything is touch screen and all I see on the screen is purple and black. Is there a local facility where I can take this in and exchange it somehow?

Breakage is not covered under the manufacturers warranty. So no replacement there. If you purchased supplemental insurance from Assurion or Assurant the breakage would be covered. But in the supplement insurance you pay a fee each month and a deductible before you get a more than likely a refurbished phone.

If you have no recourse under either of these situations then you either buy the phone full price, or buy from http://www.swappa.com or from eBay or a private seller just make sure its usable on verizon and has not been reported lost or stolen.
