Bad enough my phone is slow

But today I am trying to delete some emails on my phone and its just stuck on ""please wait" How long am I supposed to wait? I have turned the phone off and on, (three times), I have cleared the cache (thru an app and through turning clearing cache partition. What else can I do besides running off to the verizon store or throwing this against the wall?

I hope you didn't have to wait too long, lucass1428. We don't recommend throwing it against the wall (unless you have insurance).

You've also done some great steps as far as troubleshooting is concerned. Did you also clear application cache for the email http://vz.to/13GrJK5?

Do you have access to other functions of the phone while it is telling you to wait?
