There was a recent update to my Samsung S4 (Model SCH-I535, Version 4.3, Baseband version I535VRUCML1, Kernel 3.0.31, Build number JSS15J.I535VRUCML1, Hardware version I535.10). After the update my bluetooth turns off immediately upon going into sleep mode, but the crazy thing is it is only in the morning. I leave for work at 6:00 and when I try to sync with my Ford Sync it will turn off once the phone goes into sleep mode. However later in the day or the ride home, no problem. It works. I tested with my earpiece as well and same thing. I've confirmed that it is when it turns "off" to save the screen, it turns off the Bluetooth function. But again only first thing in the morning like there is some type of timer being set or block. I have no selected timers or blocks on the phone. It's worked fine until I got the update last week (1/16/2014).
