Email Issue

All of a sudden my emails are not syncing. My settings look good, nothing changed except I added texting to my plan. Now I am not getting notified that I have emails and they are not syncing to my email screen. Sometimes I have to hit the refresh button 5 times before a new email shows. I am not getting many FB emails either. Keeping up with my emails is very important.

Hi AngMac,

You are right! Notifications are very important. Adding a text package, would not prevent the notifications from coming through. Have you tried to remove the email and readding it? This is usually the fix. Also, the Facebook emails, are those coming through the email account you are referring to? Keep us posted.

I have tried removing the email and adding again. I have to hit the sync button about 5-10 times before my emails appear in my inbox. This is really frustrating. I've restarted my phone and still nothing. I am to the point that I am going to take it back to the store since it's only 2 months old. But finding the time to get to the store is hard.

Thanks for trying, AngMac. I know how important it is to have the convenience of your email on your phone. What type of email account (Gmail, Yahoo, Live, etc) are you having trouble with? Do you have multiple email addresses syncing to your phone? Do all of them give you the same trouble? Are you using the email application that was pre-installed on the phone or did you download a new one from the market? We'll save you the trip to the store and get to the bottom of this.
