Deleting Text Messages from the Front Screen

I have a EnV3 which i recently dropped into some water.  My inside screen does not work and so i can only text from the outside screen.  My text box is full and I do not know how to delete my inbox from the front screen....any ideas would most definitely help

Try this....

 

Open up to the keyboard

Press OK

Press the number 2

Press the right silver key above the 9 & 0

Press 1

Scroll up once using the navigation pad

Press OK

 

That should erase unread and read text messages in your inbox only.
