HTC ONE WiFi connects but no internet

I have an HTC One that I received a few weeks ago. For some reason my WiFi will often say it is connected but I am unable to access the internet, email or any web apps. Repeatedly recycling the wifi will occasionally fix the issue...but it returns later. Has anyone else had this issue?

Is this happening at the WiFi access point at your home only? Or does it happen with any WiFi access point ("hotspot")?

If you haven't already, you might test its behavior at more than one WiFi hotspot to determine if it's your phone's problem in general or a problem with how your phone is connecting to a particular WiFi access point.

Thanks for your reply, I don't seem to have an issue at home at all...this seems to only happen when I am on a non-secured public network.

Some public wifi hotspots require you to login via a web page. Have you checked to see if you need to sign in?
