I can't get the shopping scanner apps to work with the HTC One camera. I've downloaded two different apps and neither of them will focus on the UPC. The camera will focus on other items, just not the UPC. Any suggestions?

It works well on hubby's HTC One.
I've tried the Shop Savvy and Barcode Scanner (the link you provided), neither of them will work. I've also noticed that when I try to take a picture of a picture, it doesn't focus. Sounds like it is a hardware issue. I will take it in to Verizon.
We've been using the bar code scanner app, successfully. The camera is funky - sometimes it works and sometimes it won't focus well at all, though it does seem to focus on the bar codes well enough. Maybe a replacement phone will do the trick. Here's hoping... :smileyhappy:
I have used bar code scanner. In low lights when that purple tint exist sometimes doesn't work. This is disappointing how Verizon ruined this phone.
