I wouldnt say this is good news. There are plenty of app stores now with Rim having an app store pushed to blackberries now. My thought is if Verizon only wants you to use there app store and RIM wants you to use there app store. Who wins-betcha its not us.

I hope VZW doesn't block or otherwise censor apps from the RIM App Store. I can say a convenience will be easier billing. The RIM App Store bills to a PayPal account. VZW can bill to the account/line directly. I consider that excellent because I have been burned in several PayPal transactions and PayPal is most definitely pro-seller.
