Gallery "not responding" message or Gallery and camera troubleshoot.

Question

When I startup Gallery or after taking a photo, I get the "not responding" message within a few seconds.  Any help or known errors by anyone else?

The first thing that I'd try is:

Settings > Application manager > All > Gallery and clear Cache and Data

Settings > Application manager > All > Media Storage and clear Cache and Data.

then reboot your phone.

If that doesn't work try a OS cache clear.
