so just recently my phone has been telling me that my SIM card is damaged. I have never taken it out.. what could have happened?
Things just happen sometimes. You could try reseating it, i.e., turn off the phone, remove the SIM card, wait a few minutes, then reinsert the SIM card, turn the phone back on, and wait a few minutes for a network connection to be re-established. If that doesn't work, you can get the SIM card replaced for free at your local Corporate Verizon store.
i had the same issue and it would do it occasionally and then stop. then it started doing it more frequently and then eventually just broke i guess. i had to get it replaced.
