How do you connect the USB760 Modum to a Compaq desktop computer?

After searching the Verizon website for at least an hour, I have found a support question site. I have asked them the same question. Is there I driver I have to download or ?? Installing on this little Gateway Netbook was a snap. Plug it into the big computer, and nothing. Any advise would be appreciated.

Why don't you purchase a CradlePoint router? I have a CradlePoint MBR1000 and it works great. You also don't have to use the VZ Access program.

Install the VZAccess Manager software FIRST, then plug the USB760 into your desktop PC. When you step through the installation, it'll walk you through this.

What specifically is happening?

The VZ Access software is loaded on the USB760. It is suppose to install when you plug the USB760 into the computer.

Check vzam.net, I see a download available for the USB-760. This may be the ticket to get it up and running.
