Galaxy Nexus Stuck On Nexus "X" Logo

I am experiencing the same problem today. I have tried shutting down the phone. Even removed the battery for 5 minutes or so, and then tried again. It is stuck on a cycle of the x logo for a few minutes to a quick flash of my lock screen, then it cycles back to the x again. In reading the thread, it looks like my phone must be stuck in an update or something, but it hasn't changed in several hours. Now, I can't even turn it off.

Having equipment issues is no fun dkporter. I know this can be very frustrating and we will do all we can to help get this resolved.
